If they are funny and harmless, yeah, it is too much to ask. This isn't golf.
I'm all for being enthusiastic, but why even put yourself in a position to have to deal with TeamOps? I was sitting in KK and you guys sure did your job. I moved my seat after the first because I was sick of listening to you. Hope you enjoyed the outcome.

I can't say I agree with your post at all. From the sound of things, they were just having some fun and weren't doing anything to deserve the treatment they got from our event staff.

If there was some vulgar or over-the-top chanting they were doing, I'll take it back, but I don't think they did even that.

Over/under on how long someone posts that:
- BC counts tickets sold
- Der drool "dressed as empty seats" drool derrrrrrr
- DROOOOOOOl "stupid yellow tshirts" durrrrrrrrrrrr

I'll go with never since I took the preemptive strike.

I heard NU fans were holding lots of Beanpots on Friday. Good stuff.

You forgot NU's arena only holds 4666. :D

BC Joe.. my comment was specifically for yesterday's gm. I was not knocking the fanbase. Anyhow, the box score listed Sunday's gm at 6100+.. were there that many in the arena? Just curious..

I think, as has been mentioned, BC counts tickets sold, ..so the comparison is a bit misleading. And as has been mentioned, our arena now holds less than the 5K from previous seasons. Again, wasn't a knock, just a bit of humor reflecting a super gm played yesterday.. & lack of home fans to witness it.

Yes, there were 6100 people there. When you go in and get your ticket scanned, that gives BC a very accurate count - they do not count tickets sold (the joke was tongue in cheek... obviously for a reason).

i was surprised there were only 6100 there, i thought it was more.........just needed more students. Even the visitors side was pretty full as i usually sit there and not in my seats, but, for sure, it was the biggest crowd visually, except of course for BU

Gotcha, thnks Nick.

I was privy only to ESPNU & believe it or not.. they (had to) focus mostly on the ends.. where the fireworks took place (gleefully for you). Both ends.. (seating wise), looked fairly bleak.. as compared to Matthews.. except on ice for your team, of course :)

Would be relevant if NU came close to filling the current 5K capacity on a regular basis, which they do not.

NU has the best student fan base in Hockey East, but nobody in the general public gives a crap. BC is generally among the top 2 w/ UNH in average attendance at the end of the year (will probably be 3rd behind BU this yr. thanks to a terrible home schedule).

That was an impressive sellout on Friday! There several entire sections that had less than 5 people in them.

im just glad NU has "WIZARD" security for events...not a single one is overweight or out of shape and they could all handle any situation. (epic sarcasm)

That's because many of those tickets went to students who stand behind the Doghouse vs sitting down below. If I were in their situation, I would have done the same.
