Not so ez????

Re: Not so ez????

Hey..this thread got cloned !! You have to love it when someone tries to emulate you !!

Re: Not so ez????

or make fun of you...

Or, you know, prove that they're in your head, the way SCSU is firmly stuck in your head.

Since, of course, if this thread was such a joke, it could have been easily just laughed off. Looks like there's a real feeling of inadequacy out there that simply has to be dealt with.

That is definitely true of RWD.

Re: Not so ez????

The Elis have one strength no one has mentioned. Many Yale athletes actually go to college to obtain an education. Consequently, they are less likely than players at other leading hockey schools to turn pro and drop out at an inconvenient time.
Which among the top 15 teams are most likely to be hurt by players defecting to the pros before this season ends?

Anyone with a draft pick or who has garnered free agent interest. Especially considering the poaching that the NHL has been doing lately.

Of course, with that philosophy, then Atlantic Hockey would be the best league. Of course it's debatable, seeing as how they "skated circles" around "the best team in the country". ;)

Of course, skating circles is only important in figure skating. :p

Re: Not so ez????

So many people belittle athletic excellence which is not to their liking. Some years ago at a pre-season exhibition game between Cornell and a German team I watched a 13 year-old girl named Sarah Hughes skate in circles between the first and second period. [Sarah is the daughter of John Hughes, captain of the only unbeaten DI college hockey team in U.S. history.]
I enjoyed her skating in circles, which soon won her the gold medal in Olympic figure skating. I value this experience more than watching Cornell beat UND 1-0 in a terrific hockey game on their way to a national championship.
Enjoy your life, not your prejudices.

No people don't.... Get it through your thick skull. Simply put, no one agrees that athletic and academic excellence are exclusive. Some people can be good at both.

You had been doing pretty good, but I see you have reverted back to your old ways.... great. As if listening to the stupid posting of the Yale fans weren't enough we got you back again...
