Just wondering if St. Norbert's has been asked or would be willing to come to the east to play in one of the holiday tournaments like the Primelink or the Oswego tournament. I know St. Norbert's is always the top team in the west so maybe they hold there own tournaments. Over the years a number of western teams have traveled to play in tournaments including Adrien. I may not be correct but I think some eastern teams have traveled to St. Norbert's for tournaments. It be quite a tournament see Plattsburgh, Middlebury, Norwich, and St. Norbert's all in one weekend.
Not for publication yet, but I heard from two very reliable sources, that there is strong possibility, that both the SNC men and women teams will be playing a top Eastern region team in the next two years at their rink. from SNC website, also Derozier will have radio broadcast available also.
Oh, and for all the comments around "orange food color", it's called annatto, a natural plant extract used as a dye..............
That's the point - it's a dye. I don't care if it is a natural dye or not. Why dye something to make it a color that it isn't. Would you put a natural blue dye in hamburger? It's not the real color - white is the color. Cheddar was dyed orange (I know, you call it "yellow" but that the strangest shade of yellow I've ever seen) in the colonies to distinguish it from Cheddar made in England during the Colonial days. No need for that now.
I believe they use that annato stuff.I know I am going way off the deep end here, but did you know that Florida Oranges are dyed to th bright orange color we see on the grocers shelves? When we stopped at the Indian River fruit stand near St Augustine all the oranges were more green than orange. When asked if they were ripe, the girl cut one open and showed us how orange the inside was. She advised that oranges leaving Florida to be retailed eslewhere are indeed dyed before shipping!

Stay tuned...
See post #52. Same timing that I heard.I guess if you scheduled the games early it wouldn't get in the way of any traditional teams tournament. Just a lot of time on the bus. It will be interesting to see if it happens. Although early season play and the NCAA tournament are way different with defense first play in the NCAA's.
sounds like a party......rolls eyesI'm pretty sure St. Norbert is going back to the Oswego Pathfinder in 2013-14.
I have some 15-year cheddar in wax in my refrigerator that I haven't cracked open yet. If we get two wins this weekend that might be the time to crack open a Pabst and the wax on that cheddar.
would be great to have them in that tourny, Adrian came a few yrs ago as well....I'm pretty sure St. Norbert is going back to the Oswego Pathfinder in 2013-14.
