Yup WDEV is the Norwich flagship station at 550 AM and 96.1 FM .... thanks for listening!
Pretty sad when you seemingly drive off the edge of the earth, and the radio stations are more techno-current than those in counties with a 30% larger population. {shaking head slowly} So exactly when did NY fall to the bottom of the technological abyss? Must be RIT's fault.Yup WDEV is the Norwich flagship station at 550 AM and 96.1 FM .... thanks for listening!

Really miss playing RIT. The rivalry was a good one and almost as good as the Oswego one. We had some good times there, defeating them of course!
Keith Aucoin signs with Toronto, two way deal

Best of Luck to him
I like the fact he ended up in Toronto. Plenty of chance to make the lineup and they play Boston in Boston 3 times every year as well as Montreal in Montreal giving NU alums six chances to see him in relatively close places.
Wish he'd have ended up with a team that was going to play the Avs but no such luck. I saw the Caps weren't coming here this year, and neither are the Leafs. Darn...
On another note there's a chance I might be able to get to Thompson Arena for the NU/DC game - we will be in the area and if all the chips fall in the right places...
The Leaves do come here this year, November 21.
Unfortunately for Keith, Toronto is pretty deep up the middle, with Bozak, Connolly, Grabovski, Steckel, McClement, and Lombardi all having extensive NHL experience at the position. Plus they have Joe Colborne and Nazem Kadri as young prospects for the position. It's very likely that he was brought in to mentor those 2 young guys, and won't see much, if any, NHL ice time.
Still a good signing, such a great city to play hockey in.

Prez, knowing the Leafs, he'll be up at day one![]()
