I already answer him - give the guy from the REAL West a chance to answer (as opposed to the (mid)West)

Pretty sad when you seemingly drive off the edge of the earth, and the radio stations are more techno-current than those in counties with a 30% larger population. {shaking head slowly} So exactly when did NY fall to the bottom of the technological abyss? Must be RIT's fault.

The same can be said for some of the radio stations out here. Actually Vermont is pretty technologically advanced relative to the rest of the country in many ways. For example, this morning I had to go to McDonald's to get internet connectivity for an on-line course that I am teaching because my ISP has been down for 18 hours and their phone has a recorded message which says "we know that service is compromised in your area." McDonald's ATT service works. That's where I am right now

Really miss playing RIT. The rivalry was a good one and almost as good as the Oswego one. We had some good times there, defeating them of course!

Hopefully the Leafs give him a fair chance to make the big club!

I like the fact he ended up in Toronto. Plenty of chance to make the lineup and they play Boston in Boston 3 times every year as well as Montreal in Montreal giving NU alums six chances to see him in relatively close places.

Wish he'd have ended up with a team that was going to play the Avs but no such luck. I saw the Caps weren't coming here this year, and neither are the Leafs. Darn...

On another note there's a chance I might be able to get to Thompson Arena for the NU/DC game - we will be in the area and if all the chips fall in the right places...

The Leaves do come here this year, November 21.

Unfortunately for Keith, Toronto is pretty deep up the middle, with Bozak, Connolly, Grabovski, Steckel, McClement, and Lombardi all having extensive NHL experience at the position. Plus they have Joe Colborne and Nazem Kadri as young prospects for the position. It's very likely that he was brought in to mentor those 2 young guys, and won't see much, if any, NHL ice time.

Still a good signing, such a great city to play hockey in.

How'd I miss that? Went right to the Avs schedule on line and didn't see that. Didn't take too much of a look at the Leafs depth chart when I didn't see them on the schedule. I was planning on getting to an Avs game or two next year, and that might be one of them

Prez, knowing the Leafs, he'll be up at day one ;)

Re: WDEV-FM Question

Prez with the freshmen reporting to Norwich this weekend can you provide us with any info on the new recruits. I have noticed that is only one player on the D3 recruit list from Western Canada, Ben Morgan, and was curious to see if there were any more driving in from out west. From the D3 recruit list it looks like St. Norbert's has some great recruts and in the ECAC E both Babson and Castleton appear to have some good talent coming too. A lot of Norwich best players this year will be seniors also.
