Just saw on Elite Prospects, that Nikita Kashirsky has headed back to Mother Russia to play for Spartak Moscow (KHL). Hope he sticks. Daddy was a Dynamo guy, but that club folded.

Plattsburgh played Moscow Spartak quite a few years back They were
a very good team with a lot of talent.

Prez just to let you know the Sports Info Dept has prepared a lot of interesting articles on Norwich's fall sports teams which you see in the Times Argus. When it comes time for hockey I sure you will have a lot of info available when the time is right.

The Norwich soccer player from Tunisa is very interesting.

We have a great working relationship right now with the Times Argus sports department with Anna and Jamie. I know we've had a lot of stories/fall sports previews in there since I'm the one that has been writing a good chunk of them :)

The TA will be covering Norwich hockey a lot this year once again I'm sure. Anna tries to get to our games as much as possible and when she's not, they run my recap/stories pretty much every time.

My guess is that is not news to the SID - just a wild guess.

Now prof, we can't just make that kind of assumption. I think I will fire an email off directly to inform them to review these "releases"!!!

The recruiting class of 3 forwards and 1 defensemen must be one of the smallest Norwich recruiting classes in the past few years. With Dartmouth on the schedule in 6 weeks it is going to be interesting to see how this all plays out. Norwich also lost some top talent on defense from last year's team and Doug Lindensmith not coming back will take away a top forward.

The NU Cadet marching band and drill team was in the Battle Of Plattsburgh parade today. All I can say is "Fantastic". The entire university should be proud of this group!
