I hope that the band director can organize a pep band for hockey games they way they did a few years ago.

Han't happened for several years because the former band director retired, his interim replacement wasn't interested in doing it, but I have no clue about what the current guy's stance is. I like bands and hockey games a lot more than canned music, although I will admit that I like "The Good Old Hockey Game," "Cotton-Eyed Joe", and "YMCA". Beyond that a lot of what is played during intermissions and play stoppages is irrelevant noise.

I also liked the piece on Ch.5 on 9/11. The Slow march,as they called it, of the Norwich cadet highly impressed me. I had not seen this before. They did 24 hours . Good job!!!

Klinger is in Stockton's training camp. With the lockout extending, don't be surprised if these guys don't last when the AHL cuts are made and normally AHL players end up in the ECHL. For the guys trying to make a go of it in the lower minors, this is a rough time for them.
