Norwich 2015-16 - 17 straight ECAC East titles and counting....

17-8-2. If we take off our maroon and gold tinted glasses, that's not a bad year.

You're absolutely right. Of course, as we learned this season, many of our "pink hat" supporters will predict nothing but doom and gloom...even though, in the midst of excellence, we've been in this spot before (08-09).

I'm quite sure we'll be back in October, but this game will sting for a bit

Thanks for everything Cadets, you had a lot to overcome with injuries and rebuilding. See you next year, we are proud of you!

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the definition of a "pink hat" supporter?

They say it ain't over till the fat lady sings, well she was just singing up a storm last night. Sadly there were large chunks of the game that Babson could have won with just 4 players on the ice. As you all have said , maybe just a bad year and next year will be better. I am sure MCShane will get it figured out, as he always does. It was very nice to see him shake the Babson players hands last night.
They just did not like that size of ice. To Babsons credit though , they looked really good. There feet were moving pretty good all night long. I don't know if they can play off there home ice, but they sure seem to have there own ice pretty well figured out. There coaches did a great job getting ready for NU and they deserved the win. I am not sure but it seemed like there were more NU fans there then Babson fans. So we all gave it our best. Can't win them all. See you all, here in the spin room next year. Maybe it will be time for another Yellow/Gold banner to be hung at NU.

Going to be weird not seeing any sort of banner for 2016...

No credit taken from Babson as they are a great team but for the life of me I cannot stand these small rinks. It is a totally different game! Anyone know the dimensions of Babson's Rink? I've been trying to see the size difference but cannot seem to find the dimensions of their rink anywhere.

Babson: 200x85
Kreitzberg: 200x90

What happened this year?
I'm sure our coaches and players are more frustrated and confused as we fans are. I was lucky enough to watch all the streamed games except the last two which found me with other commitments. I think one poster said he talked with some players and felt we were either going to win big or lose big. I thought it would be close as we had recently beat them as well as Boston. However it was a surprise to open our site and see the results. It is always frustrating when your team plays very good and then very bad. We all want to find the fix and fix it. Without seeing or reading it, Caselton appears to have ensured Will wouldn't play but we have beaten them without him. All athletes have an off day as well as teams. Many posts back I asked a similar question and one of our Plattsburgh friends volunteered his opinions and got this thread recharged. Several posters joined in with several suggestions Anyone care to comment.? Norwich has had a strong hockey program for a long time and I believe we will continue to do so.

Something to think about....Norwich only had one senior on its roster, which could indicate a lack of team maturity, witness all they different line combinations this year. With this year under there belts, I'm sure that they will be vastly improved next year.

Prez any chance Norwich can play Dartmouth in the preseason next year since Thompson Arena is right down the road. In reference to the season the Cadets always played hard but the goal production was often lacking. Hope the team can reload to find the few missing pieces. The lack of any Norwich players on the NEHC freshman team was one area that stood out to me.

Another end of season question with UNE leaving has St. A's officially applied for membership, and when could that occur.
