I lost the feed too (in Florida) for awhile but got it back. "On The Road again"!!!!!:D Norwich beats Castleton 4-1.
Sorry I didn't mention the road they are going to be on is to Babson. You can do this Cadets!

God no, don't need any brawls or penalties/injuries tonight! Many years ago I could imagine a dirty brawl with Castleton, but they are a different team now under Coach Moffet. Hope it is a clean game with Norwich playing their best. Cadets, stay out of the box, work as a team and take care of business tonight!!!:D

I may have to take back my thoughts about Castleton playing cleaner. I know there were missed calls on both sides, but I really thought it was low class to work over Pelletier after he passed the puck each and every time.

Coach certainly had a few choice words with a Spartan player during the hand shake. Would have been nice to have been a fly on the wall!

I thought my dream might come true for a few minutes there.

Good hockey game. Rough hockey game. Made for good TV.

Okay folks this league tournament on the road thing is different but it affords us the chance to make a statement ... time to prove that Norwich still travels better than any team in Division Three ... time to PACK the Babson Skating Center with Cadets fans ... i mean PACK IT!!! I'm gonna be there and I will NOT not be there alone!!!

Wish I could join you, even on the internet, but I will be at a charity dinner. Any chance I can watch the game at a later time? I mean does NSN save the game in their archives?? If not I will try checking scores and come home to read the box scores hoping for a 5-1 win by Norwhich ( both games this year ended up in 5-1 scores...). At any rate good luck Cadets.

At a minimum, I predict you'll be there with "Cory Gustafson alongside."

Tickets are only $5.00 but I think they are only selling 150. But easy to set up account..

First time you've ever played a road conference playoff game. Just don't wear the camouflage unis.

The Norwich Alumni Facebook page just jinxed us.

It was an outstanding weekend for Norwich ice hockey fans! On Saturday afternoon Norwich University women's ice hockey team clinched its sixth straight New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) regular season title with a 2-1 win over second-place Holy Cross and the Norwich University men's ice hockey team ended Castleton University's season for the fifth straight year with a 4-1 victory over the Spartans in the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Tournament Quarterfinals that evening.

The women’s team secured the No. 1 seed for the NEHC Tournament and will now host either New England College or Southern Maine next Saturday, Feb. 27 in the NEHC Quarterfinal round. The men’s team will take on UMass Boston or the University of New England on Saturday, March 4 to compete in the NEHC Championship.

Getting a little ahead of ourselves...
