Northeastern Huskies 2011-2012 Season Thread: Year of the Mad Dog

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2011-2012 Season Thread: Year of the Mad Dog

Gotta admit ... it's funny to see you still bothered by Lowell beating the Huskies.

To the rest of the NU fans ... great weekend all around for your team, not just in your results, but the teams around you as well.

of course I am, I hate it when we lose to bad teams.

gotta admit though, its funny to see you still trolling our threads worried about what we might be saying about you.

I love it when Lowell beats bad teams, so I have that going for me.

Hopefully your squad keeps winning and makes it to the playoffs. I'd love for Lowell to host Northeastern. That's a guaranteed trip to the Garden.

Actually I'd come on to say congrats on your weekend sweep.

Just saw this on fbook "MRI time. Wish me luck".

I'm assuming something happened during the 2nd UVM game...? And if he's out for any extended period of time... please no Dongara!!! I used to be a fan - now I cringe when I see him on the ice.

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2011-2012 Season Thread: Year of the Mad Dog

I know Quailer had a bad (broken?) finger since the BC/BU wknd.. is this still the same injury nagging him or something else?
Wish him the best with his recovery.

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2011-2012 Season Thread: Year of the Mad Dog

Good one, you said that like you actually believe it.

Lowell ran your show this year. Fact. Science.

And you say it like you dont believe in your team, for good reason I would say.

Ran our show you were 2-1, with an OT win. Yeah, that's running it all right. (because you are slow and from Lowell that would be sarcasm. Look it up if you know how to use a dictionary.)

Well that's obviously ridiculous. In fact, find me a poster on USCHO who has more confidence in their team? Hint: can't be done.

Thanks for the heads up about the dictionary. I'm sure your co-op at Barnes & Noble was paramount in developing that particular skill.

Let's just stick with math. Three games played between Lowell and NU. Lowell won two. Lowell lost a one-goal game because of a silly decision by the coach that cost them at least a point.

Truth bomb. Boom.

Easy, that would be any poster on this board that does not need to go into other teams season threads in order to tell them how great their own team is. Its like the guy with a small member compensating by driving around town in the really fast car that makes a ton of noise every time he drives down the street in order to let everyone know he is there. Lots of noise and show, very little behind it. That would be you.

Huskies 01

I like your analogy. Patronick apparently in a "need-a-lifer" who bases his self worth on the record of the UML hockey team. He has a short memory and keeps blaming his coach for a terrible mistake in the forst game loss. He conveniently forgets the fact that NU dominated the game and nearly broke it open several times. UML made it look closer than it was with its EA goal in the last minute.

Try to cut him some slack. UML has so much less to be proud of than the NU fans and alumni. If the fact that Patronick's school (DK if he actually was graduated) has several pretty good athletic teams is enough to pump him up and make his pathetic life worth living, that's good. We should not want to take that away from him.

Patronick. Let the folks on this thread wish your guys a successful season and further wish that NU gets another shot at them in the post season.

Now. Go away! Don't return even if we do meet in the post season as I'm sure that there will be a separate thread for that topic.

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2011-2012 Season Thread: Year of the Mad Dog

Huskies, let's continue the offense from the UVM series..
the more we pass the puck.. the luckier we get! :)
Let's get the 2 pts tonight.. been a while since we've had a complete effort at home. Go NU

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2011-2012 Season Thread: Year of the Mad Dog

Well 2 very bad rumors swirling around pregame tonight. Reports of season ending knee surgery for Ferriero and Quailer out for 3 weeks with ACL/MCL sprain. Still speculation as of now but both out for tonight.

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2011-2012 Season Thread: Year of the Mad Dog

Good win tonight. If he stays all 4 years, Pimm has a chance to be a very special player. Fantastic in all three zones. We will certainly miss 79 but if Quailer is truly healthy in 3 weeks we can still be a factor in the playoffs.
