I'm right there with you. Class of '06...4 years as a ticket holder at full price. But still, better late than never. It was a nice surprise to see I'd be able to save $60 a ticket this season.

I am '01 and got a discount my first year out. Nothing after, but not a big deal. Still a great value across the board.

The Florida Panthers flew in from Rochester late last night and practiced at Matthews from 10:00 to 1:00 today. I went down and took a few pictures.. also met Dennis Wideman. Looked like Cronin and the team were taking notes too. Also, new banners up for both men's and women's teams, and basketball. They took down the banners that had the HE teams on them and put up a new banner that has all of the team's logos on it. IMO, I liked the old banners better.

Just about a week to go till preseason!

I haven't gotten my season tickets yet :-/ Did anyone else get their tickets? Not sure why the ticket office has to wait until the week that the season starts in order to send tickets as opposed to sending them out a couple weeks before the season opener.....

Got ours today.. you should have them in the nxt day or so.

Neat thing now is (if you don't have them by Thurs), just contact the tix office & they will give you a userid & pword (which comes with the ticket packet).. you can now go online at the ticket center & just print 'em.. all at once or however/whenever you choose. Hope this helps, g'luck :)

We got ours yesterday as well. Won't be there for the exhibition since we'll be visiting my new niece (she's only 2 weeks old as of Monday) but we will be there for the 9th. Can't wait!

I got an email yesterday about how the ticket printers broke and they'll hold my tickets at will call this weekend...

I did get my Season tix today after 4 weeks of waiting from filling out the mailer. However it seems you can get them on line now too. Although, I think electroic delivery and will call were options for these methods. Anyway still the best deal in town.

Well boys..pre season looks good and I was privledged enough to see Quailer play some at HABS camp over the summer. If the knee holds we should be pretty good. Lots of polls have us with some pre season ranking points, for whatever that might be worth. I don't think this team will be scoring 4 or 5 goals a game but if Rawlings shows up we will compete for sure. Looking forward to blogging again. I did not keep the exhibition tix for Sat Night I gave them to the Reggie Lewis Center so they can give them away to some local kids from the South End always an option. Did not make the golf outting still in Germany back next week. Hope you all had a great summer.

tough loss tonight to a chippy Acadia team. 3-2 final score. rawlings played a fairly solid first 2 periods, witt played the 3rd. PP still needs tons of work, but that's nothing new.

not too worried about it, we played better than them, we just didnt convert on our chances. i was pretty impressed with most of the frosh, didnt think bitetto played too well, which was disappointing given the praise he has received. cant wait for games that matter.

Zak Stone looked very good.. Rawlings looked fine. Quailer looked good as well. I even liked Clay Witt. But giving up a SHG again, ..not so much.

BTW, the Acadia goaltender (forget his name), was amazing & won the gm for them no question. Was solid all gm.

Liked the new (redone) banners.. can we get a new one? :) We'll find out soon enough how we stack up.

The save on McNeely's backhanded shot was ridiculous. The freshman played pretty well over all, seemed a bit awkward at times with the physical part of the game and the PP of course frustrated me again. But good overall I thought.

I'm a big fan of the Quailer-McLaughlin-Vermeesch line. They generated a number of chances when they were out, and I think they'll only get better.

..that was Houdini like. His (Westblom s/p?) blocker, just in the nick of time..for them, he was the difference. Well earned.

Reg season opener on Saturday - Let's hustle against the National Champs.. always a fun gm at Matthews.

the ncaa rule committee wanted to make that a rule for this year but the coaches swiftly shut it down, they were trying the rule out in all exhibition games this year to get a better idea as to how it would work.
