Northeast Regional: Boston University, Yale, UMD, Minnesota

Re: Northeast Regional: Boston University, Yale, UMD, Minnesota

Now when was the last time Yale faced BU? The latter has taken a fancy to scheduling ECAC teams in recent years, but I can't recall when they've last met.

That means Alex Iafallo and Nick McCormack will be back. Getting Iafallo back is huge as he is probably our best forward and offensive threat. Our record has been lackluster without him in the last month.

We'll send in Bristedt to take care of him.

2006 @ BU. They will be playing each other next year, not sure where, Providence as well. We have been carping for a better OOC schedule and we better watch out what we wish for, Maine in the Liberty Invitational next year as well.

very good.... 11/30/2003

whitney scored the 1st from former employee #6 & laliberte. the 2nd unassisted on the pp, then the last (7th) with 1:23 left in the game from skladany and kenny magowan to get the hattie in a 7-2 squeaker. (kevin "KEVIN!!!!" schaeffer also had a hat trick)

You're going to have Leon Bristedt give Iafallo a communicable disease? Because the only reason #IAFALTO was out was because he had mono. That's a bold strategy there Cotton.

I have privileges at that beast of a course, my golf claim to fame is a bird on the first hole with a 60' putt that must have broken eight times. It was all downhill after that. Great course, but the blind shots are tortuous. Add a plus 10-20 to your game if you have not played there before. If you would like to check out http://www.morys1849.org/ , also let me know.

i have been to mory's to partake in cups. i would love to go again if you are thinking of doing so. i am in a thing with ylae's golf coach and have been on the course a number of times as well as mory's (and bar pizza now that i think of it which is really good). new haven is a great place to hang.

We tend to pre-game at mory's, the new Temple Bar in back is a great casual addition. BAR pizza has become too popular, the waits there can now rival Sally's and Pepe's. Modern Apizza on State St is a good alternative to the famous places. Give us a shout when you are in town.

Recent years? You must not be familiar with the annual Jack Parker friends and family tour part of our schedule. I can't remember the last time we didn't have at least a couple ECAC game on our schedule.

The two reasons they often do that are 1) Long-standing agreements, especially with RPI and the north country teams mean that scheduling is a breeze, and 2) You can do the north country basically in a weekend by bus. Lot easier than flying, which I think BU only wants to do once or twice per year.

Iafallo would like that (not that there's anything wrong with that).
