Thursday, so time for a little stab at hockey.

The Sioux will not win any game in which they trail by more than 1 after 2.
Denver won't win any game in which they do not score a pp goal.

Realistically? Hoping for a split.

Although it is unlikely at this point that DU will fail to get home ice in the first round, 3 points against North Dakota would guarantee it without worrying about what anyone else it doing. I think that is doable, but is also pretty ambitious. I'm tempted to say that I would be content with a split, but at this point in the season, I think it's time to be firing on all cylinders every game, and I believe that this team, when firing on all cylinders can win every game.

I honestly feel more amped up for tonight than I do for the CC games. Tonight is HUGE for both teams, the atmosphere will be electric at Magness Arena.

Will DU be placing generators in all the empty seats or something?

Both nights are sold out. Some of the reason for the empty seats this season is Denver is located in a civilized part of the country where there are other things to do aside from relations with family and livestock, and going to an arena worth more than the rest of the state of North Dakota's economy.

Of yeah, and we have way better weed here...so a lot of people get so baked...they kinda forget the game is happening... :D

Translation: Denver fans don't care about hockey. I see.

Also, it's called oil, me boy. North Dakota is overflowing with it. Perhaps we should use our budget surplus to buy Colorado and then wipe it off the map.

I liked the idea where Colorado is turned into one huge prison for rapists, murderers and the like... since I no longer live in Denver I have no use for it anymore. All hippies and scenesters are welcome to go there as well, I mean the few that do not already live there.

Although I'm a Sioux fan, I do go to quite a few DU games each year. It's pretty sad seeing all the empty seats for most series, and the students have absolutely NO idea what they are cheering for most of the time. Clueless fans! More people show up to watch league softball than DU hockey....

That being said, the arena WILL be packed tonight with 70% wearing GREEN!

I had to buy a ticket on Saturday night on Stubhub for $80. First time thats ever happened.

The Saturday tickets weren't available earlier in the week. They must be selling the back of the student section on Saturday night.

Let's do this! I wish I had a ticket to both nights but I think Saturday will be the better game to be at!!
