I'm so sick of this program being stuck at only 8 titles... When do we get number 9? Tired of waiting. Fire Berry!!!

College Hockey Inc shows a 14-man recruit class for next season. How many do you expect will actually be enrolled?

Probably going to be 8-10, depending upon Nick Schmaltz' decision. We lost 3 underclass defensemen, but we didn't have any senior defensemen. We lost four senior forwards, and it appears junior Luke Johnson.

Looking at the College Hockey Inc. list, I think Nick Jones is a transfer, so I don't think he can come in this year (at least the first half, IIRC). No one expects Kiersted or Mattson this year. I think a lot of people have written Cakebread off, but I've seen nothing official. I also don't think you will see all three of Evers, Peski and Bast this year. Maybe two of them, at most, assuming Casey Johnson comes in. Bowen may or may not be here as well.

Just looking at the BCHL site, Cakebread is still listed as coming to UND, so we may very well see him on campus this fall as well. Those are usually pretty good guys. Come to get a college education. Good teammates, not a ton of playing time. Emergency guys for when injuries hit hard. Then, occasionally they get a chance late in their career and make the most of it, like Sanderson did this season.

It also appears Bowen will almost certainly be coming to campus this fall. My guess is Bast, who IIRC had an injury this past season, gets held back a year.

LaDue and Luke Johnson have signed according to the USCHO list. Will definitely have to restock the D for next season!
