North Dakota 2016 Off-Season Thread

Re: North Dakota 2016 Off-Season Thread

Talk about gouging fans.
North Dakota-Minnesota single-game tickets are now on sale. Price is $100-$130 for seats, $90 for SRO.

Minnesotans will pay. You have to remember they have not seen elite level college hockey in Mpls for several years.

Re: North Dakota 2016 Off-Season Thread

When the gridlock is over he won't end up surrounded by North Dakotans so more winning.

Re: North Dakota 2016 Off-Season Thread

The trouble with Minnesota is that it is full of Minnesotans.

Pretty unoriginal considering 2 posts prior, but more importantly I really wish it were true but alas Nodaks and Sconnies keep moving there for the better life.

Totally unoriginal even without the prior post. (Hangs head.)

Some do move there, but they usually move back because they miss the hockey.

Which is why my daughter's best friend is a young lady who's family moved here from Minnesota a few years ago, one of the elders in my church is a Minnesota transplant, as is one of my good friends here in North Dakota. :p We're a mobile society, people move into and leave all states on a regular basis.

We moved from Minnesota to the great state of North Dakota when I was a kid 47 years ago. I'm still here and love it. I love Minnesota too. In fact I love America damit.

Re: North Dakota 2016 Off-Season Thread

I love Minnesota... both sides of my family have owned lake properties in Minnesota since the 50s... I will be going into the BWCA in a few days for almost a week. Love Minny but there is a reason I live on this side of the Red River. The people that make fun of NoDak make me smile. I'm glad that they will never get to know how special a place it is.

People that are having fun should make you smile. This is a rivalry and opposing fans give each other s**t all the time - most of us are capable of doing that without taking it personally or seriously. :)

btw were this a serious conversation you won't see me rip the states of ND or WI - just their inhabitants. ;)

I love Minnesota because the people who live there make me seem smart. Back home I was always the idiot child. Slap Shot is good for me that way, and I'll always be grateful.

Anyone going to the Manitiba game Saturday to not only see the new guys but to also see banner number 8 raised? I'll be there with beer in hand. ;)
