NMU vs. Miami

Re: NMU vs. Miami

This from a guy who just 3 weeks ago was running his mouth about what Northern Michigan was going to do to the rest of the GLIAC this year over on D2F.com.

I still think NMU upsets Grand Valley. I know thats a pipe dream, but I'm holding out hope for it.

Has anyone considered that the team chemistry is messed up because of the changes in support staff. I forget the guys name, but talking to Stewie, he is pretty messed up because of this change. It seems he was well liked by the players, and kept Stewie focused on his performance. Stewie is the most important key to this team's success and needs to get his head on straight, FAST.

Whatever happen to that theft case outcome with Will Weber for Miami? I remember watching this kid play for Gaylord when they played TC three years ago? He's huge, but Olver and few other speedy fowards can beat him!

From what I understand it got thrown out. He is huge and is one of the most improved players on this roster. Don't underestimate Miami's team speed, they have some slower defensemen but they are one of the quickest teams in the country.

Just one of the reasons they are #1 along with outstanding goaltending. What I said earlier will still be key for NMU; physical play, getting pucks to the net and often, stay out of the box, and knock off the defensive breakdowns, and we'll have a good chance of winning this weekend.

I'd probably (and others too) agree with you more if you weren't such a freaking drama queen every time you post.

Bahahahahaha.

Never say never, as Northern is capable of giving GVSU a run for its money. However GVSU has looked very dialed in lately, especially last Saturday. If this game was up in the Dome, I would be very, very nervous, along with probably just pulling into town right about now ideally. ;) Northern's not totally out of the playoff picture, and a win at Lubbers would be just one of the things they would need to get into the playoffs.

Re: NMU vs. Miami

ha. yea no fun when miami makes us pay to listen to audio for games. USCHO lists a station for the cats games, WNMU? Dunno if that's accurate or not.
