I like to reserve comment until I've seen guys play. I've heard good scouting reports on both players. I'll have a better opinion when we get back from Fairbanks.

Steve Weeks has signed on to be the Blackhawks Goaltender Coach... Always nice to have an NMU connection in the UC :cool:

Hope Weeks has a good run in Chicago.

At least this is a good year to be a sometime Hawks fan (maybe), seeing as the Wings and Hawks are in different conferences this next season.

Even with the hiring of Weeks and Comley, I still refuse to warm to the Blackhawks.

I would root for the Avalanche before I would root for the Blackhawks. And as a Wings fan (even with Olver on the Avs) I'm still not rooting for the Avs ever.

Tough call being right next to playoff/Tourney time... But then again, getting a chance to fish Lake Guntersville for pre-spawn Bass is a VERY attractive side trip for me... Gonna have to see what the bank account says as we progress through the season :p

I hear ya. Y'all were kind to us 11 seasons ago when we came up. We ended up in some bar with karaoke, and our whole radio crew ended up singing "Sweet Home Alabama". It was something, y'all. I ... remember most of that night but remember really hating that I had to get moving to get to the rink by 4 that next day.

All I know is that the hot dog I ate from a downtown food cart (in January in Marquette ... respect) around 2am was THE BEST HOTDOG I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE, BEFORE OR SINCE. Probably because I was still drunk.

GFM <— drove home because he was the only one old enough to rent a car, so he stopped drinking after the second bar...
