On the road again
Is that why NMU has had so many from Texas, California, Sweden and Finland?
Whatever works!

I personally like the way the Florida kids play hockey.
The ones that swim or raft over to Florida and can pitch a 96 MPH fastball...
Oh... he said hockey...
Yes I did say hockey not swimmers.
Cohen Adair is with Chicago as well.IDK how many Wildcat fans follow this thread in the summer but for those that do and are interested, NMU leading goal scorer (and good friend of mine) Reed Seckel is playing at San Jose's Development camp this week.
Which players do you define as slugs? Don't forget that six of the top 9 forwards who regularly played those positions were freshmen or sophomores. Guys like Seckel, Daugherty, Rose and Nowick will all have another year under their belts and another year of maturity that should result in improved performance. And with the two incoming transfers on D, Mitch Jones likely spends most of his time up front as well and should show some improvement as he made strong gains in the second half.Thurber worked out OK, so transfers seem alright. Team can't score for jack squat so bring in as many kids as possible to make up for the slugs on O from last season. Go Cats!
He will not be eligible for the first semester. If he plays the second, it would cost him a full year of eligibility. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make his NMU debut until the following season and has two full years of eligibility. We got another transfer from Northeastern, according to Matt Wellen's twitter. Joseph Manno played at Dubuque this season with Shane Sooth. I wonder if he won't be eligible til the second semester since he left Northeastern in December.

Nice article from Michigan Hockey Now about Jared Coreau.

Look forward to seeing Coreau get a chance with the Griffins next season. But, will he most likely be in Toledo or Grand Rapids? Since I don't know, what is the goaltender situation within the Red Wings' organization? And, what is the probable outlook for Coreau?
