NMU 2009-2010 Season

Re: NMU 2009-2010 Season

Hey Willy, I think I found a picture of you:

I couldn't think of a better way for you to tell me that everything I have said about you is entirely true. Dodge the question of why you're too scared to go on air and debating Dave by putting up a picture of fat guy. I'm willing to bet I'm in much better shape than you as I am a registered football, basketball, and hockey ref and 20 years old.

Stop dodging the question tough guy; why don't you want to debate Dave?

Re: NMU 2009-2010 Season

So, I have a wager going with a Minnesota poster that I'm friends with: NMU wins, he buys me a six-pack of Finnegans. MN wins, I buy him a six-pack of New Glarus Spotted Cow.

Re: NMU 2009-2010 Season

Looking forward to Wildcat hockey on live TV 8:05pm on Fox sports north
Charter 160 on digital

Re: NMU 2009-2010 Season

Scratch that.....charter continues to disappoint. We get Baylor football preview show instead.

Re: NMU 2009-2010 Season

I hope this is a sign of things to come for 2010. Staying out of the box continues to be a problem, but that aside things sounded great. Now let's ride this wave in to Houghton!

Re: NMU 2009-2010 Season

I'm glad I was able to watch such a huge win for the Cats, even though Fox-North had to stick with the Xavier-Wake Forest BB game that had to go 2 OT!

Hopefully they can carry this momentum into Tech Jan. 12 and beyond.

Re: NMU 2009-2010 Season

I realized tonight why I like hockey so much. I was watching an NBA game yesterday and I realized that the game is dominated by thugs. Hockey may have its goons and violence, but most NBA players are nothing more than common street thugs. Players pulling guns on each other in the locker rooms, tattoos all over, drugs. Hell, half the players can't even give an interview because they have the education as a 5th grader. Basketball has street thugs and paid-off refs, baseball has steroids, golf has that tiger woods fellow, and soccer is boring. I will gladly take hockey and its goons over any of those anyday. Mark me down as a proud hockey fan, I can only hope it won't get tainted like the NBA and MLB.

Nice race-baiting. Jerk.

Re: NMU 2009-2010 Season

Wow, looks like Walt has lost complete control of this team. We've got players getting suspended from the team. I heard a rumor that last year some players on the team were involved in a theft from WalMart.

Why oh why does NMU let Walt run this program into the ground?

Walt needs to be shown the door. He can't build a good hockey team and now it seems he can't even develop good character in those he coaches. Ray should definitly have been suspended for the hit, it was dirty and it was uncalled for. The team has more than its fair share of thugs and drunks and Walt needs to be held accountable.

Davy, yes he was

edit: I think they are only the bad thugs if they are the wrong color

What the heck is Walt Kyle thinking now? I just don't get him anymore.

For the second straight year, some major hockey program invites us into their barn and we walk out with a pair of wins, beating our kind hosts.

We swept the Badgers last year and now we go and beat the Gophers in their own tourney. What a disgrace.

How are we ever going to be invited back over the holidays if we keep beating these teams? Walt just doesn't get it. He's a moron.

Back to boarding up my home to keep out all those NBA thugs like Manu Ginobili and then off to rip on Ted Thompson some more about that horrible pick Clay Matthews.

I'm sure there are those who would agree with your opinions on NBA, MLB and Tiger. Most of them live in Mississippi and spend their weekends burning crosses instead of following hockey.

Re: NMU 2009-2010 Season

So, this has to be the best NMU has looked after the first half in a while, and certainly better than the last few years. Depending on which ranking system you're looking at, the 'Cats are either just outside the bubble for the NT, or still alive but with some room for improvement: http://siouxsports.com/hockey/rankings/compare/

However, I hope the trend from the past years of performing well in the second half continues, as any losses from here on out could be potentially devastating to rankings, and there's a stretch in late January/early February that are especially crucial :http://siouxsports.com/hockey/rankings/rpidetails.php?teamid=15

Re: NMU 2009-2010 Season

It's Great to be a Wildcat!!!!!!!

I'm glad NMU took the hardware away from Minny and to start the New Year like last year, with a bang..... Each week will be a new challenge, we maintain the Momentum, Focus, and energy it will be interesting how far this team can go.

LETS GO CATS!!!!
