Exactly. There's a great drawing floating around with a brown refugee with a baby captioned "Dangerous" and a young white male with a confederate flag and a gun captioned "OK." It captures perfectly the insanity currently being peddled by the immigrantphobes.
But what does that have to do with spartans post? All he was doing was showing the hilariousness of the anti-Muslim crowd. We want to shut our borders cause France was attacked (agin not us...France) but we got all sorts of home grown terrorist nutjobs running around with automatic weapons killing people it seems weekly and we wont do one thing to try o stop it. We stamp 2 MILLION visas into this country sight unseen based upon the country of origin but we're more worried about a potential 10,000 refugees that are already vetted being a source of criminal activity. The level of big picture myopia that exists with the knuckle-dragger crowd in this country is staggering.

Personally, I'd rather we take care of our own homeless and hungry before we start accepting other countries'...no matter WHO they are. That's MY issue with the Syrian refugees.

Oh we can take care of them but that would involve paying taxes and taking money from the defense budget. But we can't do that because that's socialism, and socialism is evil.

There are some on welfare that DO need it, there is no denying that. However, we always hear about sports players whose parents worked 2, 3 jobs, made things work. Those people are to be commended. They bore down, and did what needed to be done. Is it ideal? No. Is it possible? Yes.
And then you have the people who think working at McD's is just simply beneath them. Frankly, I'm not too proud to take a crappy job if need be.

Flip that, most people on welfare need it. Fraud is a very small portion and considering working 2-3 jobs as a reasonable alternative is just asinine. (Not like we don't have a problem with unemployment as it is, so where are they going to get these not only first but second jobs from?) Labor needs to quit being so undervalued.

Off the top of my head, I know of a dozen places within 10 miles of me that are now hiring. How? Because of their signage.

Clearly that's indicative of hiring across the country and also that they are hiring a lot of people seeing as the signs are still up.

Your anecdotal evidence of hiring signs means no such thing. Let alone that someone can pick up a second or third job that won't conflict with the first hours. Or that so many jobs is a reasonable thing for a person to need.

Actually, as someone who as unemployed for almost a year I can tell you that a lot of those signs are up for openings that dont exist. The idea is to get as many people on file a possible because the jobs are low rent and tend to have fluid employment.
Also, speaking again as someone who was unemployed for almost a year I can tell you that finding a job is not a easy as you think it is and I resent you and others who act like you must be lazy if you dont have a job. It is myopic and it is wrong. It is the kind of tripe I would expect from out of touch politicians but not everyday people.

Your simplistic view is shocking...I am sure you know everyone who is on welfare and know they arent looking for work. I sincerely hope you never lose your job and have to see what it is really like out there.
