Nice Planet, Part 2: A-holes on parade

Re: Nice Planet, Part 2: A-holes on parade

So let's just say that a law is passed saying that you must surrender any -fill in the blank- weapons that you have. It's passed and survives all legal challenges and the SCOTUS says it's the law.

Now this doesn't say that all firearms are illegal, just whatever ones they cite.

Now this is the law of the land and has been declared constitutional by the highest court.

Are any of you really going to take up arms against your own countrymen to keep these banned weapons? You'd lose your life over this and possibly kill those who are charged with enforcing the laws of the USA?

Remember, you don't get to pick and choose which laws apply to you.

Thoughts?

I will not willingly surrender any of my firearms.

Re: Nice Planet, Part 2: A-holes on parade

There were previous questions regarding police or military enforcement of gun laws.

I repeat, what do those questions have to do with what BofA does or does not do? So, this businessman changes banks. Or contemplates civil action against BofA. Or both. So?

Provocative hypothetical notwithstanding, it ain't gonna happen GI.

Re: Nice Planet, Part 2: A-holes on parade

The question, I think, is will you UNwillingly surrender your firearms?
Well, you have to define "willingly" and "unwillingly" for this discussion. Where's the line? If you would hide your gun rather than driving it over to the local FBI office to surrender it, but they send officers over to confiscate it by force and you choose not to shoot them, then did you lose possession of your gun "willingly" or "unwillingly?"

Nutbar prof at Florida Atlantic U says the Sandy Hook massacre was a drill.

“Inconsistencies and anomalies abound when one turns an analytical eye to news of the Newtown school massacre,” Tracy, 47, wrote. “While it sounds like an outrageous claim, one is left to inquire whether the Sandy Hook shooting ever took place — at least in the way law enforcement authorities and the nation’s news media have described.”

And people here wonder why I'm so in favor of population control, so that stupid people can stop making more stupid people.

I have been an advocate for the same thing for years. Certainly would help if not solve a lot of problems.

Toss the fool in a hole with the Holocaust deniers, pour in some gasoline and light it up.

The great and omnipotent "they" strike again. This loon "teaches" a class on conspiracy theories. Is it a requirement that he believe in them? Or make new ones up? This is a public university, no? I'm sure the taxpayers are delighted.

Each side has its theories.

Holocaust deniers, "birthers", "truthers"...

I don't get where the "side" comes from though. WHat side? I think all sane people can agree this guy is a complete kook. It doesn't matter what "side" you're on.
