What they're saying publicly is that this allows the streets to be clear from rush hour traffic. What they aren't saying is that this allows the drugged up police to use tear gas under the cover of darkness and while the national networks are busy with their talking head shows, and most people are distracted by MNF.

A person on the ground just said there are more media (mostly print) than protesters.

Also, there are reports that there is at least one drone in use; one is hovering over the courthouse.

Usually when some important political figure makes an announcement, there is an army of "important" people around the speaker. Refreshingly, it does not look like that will be the case tonight.

Did I miss something, or did they just say Wilson stopped going to the apartment where the infant wasn't breathing to go after Brown? I was working on something else and not paying full attention to the TV.
