This. It isn't that three actors are HIV-positive, it's that a major industry stopped production. It impacts industries that you think might be more legitimate. Like the hotel industry. According to Forbes, it accounts for 55% of in-room charges hotels collect. That's a pretty nice chunk of change.

Porn, notwithstanding your strenuous efforts to define it as such, is not a "major industry." So we're reporting on these 3 porn "actors'" HIV status because we're concerned about Marriott's bottom line? Those Forbes data give a whole new meaning to the phrase "rack rate."

What's the total annual take of state taxes in California? Billions? Then why on earth is 36M supposed to be a big number? I'd imagine taxidermists pay way more than 36M in state taxes in California each year. And they have an impact far beyond the simple stuffing of birds. Some of them even run motels.

Main reason the do gooder patrol has been pushing the Porn Industry in Cali to use rubbers during all of their work is that they believe it will encourage more condom use among people having sex, or those hoping to have sex. Kind of like how they had newscasters smoking during the newscasts back in the 50's. The thought is if the kids see the dude with the impressive male organ putting on and having all sorts of fun with the suntan and silicone eyecandy, then those kids are a little more likely to have a rubber handy for when they get frisky out in the backseat with their girlfriend.

Well, kids ain't getting taught sex ed in school, it ain't getting taught in home, the next best thing is probably where they get a lot of their information from nowadays in the porn. Hell, frankly, I'm kind of surprised that no condom company hasn't already inked a deal where some porn stable will exclusively use their condoms. Just shot of the guy pulling the rubber out of the box, or out of the wrapper, instant 5 second commercial to a captive audience. You wanna tell me that wouldn't move the needle a little in the pretty competitive condom sales market?

Really?? I though the main reason of this thread is to giggle about whatever thing he's worked up about now? The way I see it, this keeps him from sitting out on his driveway at the ready to yell at the neighborhood kids to stay off of his lawn.
