Re: Nice Planet 5: Insert Catchy Title Here

You're kidding, right? Wait, you're not. You are really that dense.
Why would it? I think there would be a significant bump in sales if say 10 percent of the porn produced in California had that little 5 second product placement shot of a brand of condoms in it. That shot would be in hundreds of diffent porn videos. And Hell, you're going to get to see what, probably a good 20 minutes plus of said product in action. You don't think that might click when some horny kid is in the family planning aisle hoping he might get lucky to get 3 pumps with old Mary Jane Rottencrotch after the homecoming game?

Re: Nice Planet 5: Insert Catchy Title Here

Not a single person who watches porn would notice product placement...otherwise, it would have been done by now.

That's the point. I'm of the opinion the majority of porn "consumers" do so solo. Repeatedly. While it's possible some "consumers" will get appropriate health tips, I'm thinking they're in the minority. And I'd be surprised at any data showing "kids" learning "safe sex" techniques by watching porn. Far more prevalent are the age old clichés: "virgins," "cheer leaders" "school girls" etc. Or, to put it another way, I believe the horrific STD transmission data would be influenced only microscopically by condom requirements in porn flicks. But it's easy to get the majority to favor ineffective, unnecessary regulations for an "industry" that provides guilty pleasures. Helps that feeling of moral superiority.

If the societal efficacy of condom usage in porn flicks could be established, then shouldn't we also confiscate all the porn that's already out there where condoms aren't used?

Uh, no. Assuming that they're trying to set a mood on their set, and assuming the "actresses" arent' exactly classically trained, you're not going to get a moment of, "Okay, hun, now I'm going to roll you into a Super Thing OMG-Athon brand condom so you can go all..night...long." Nor are you going to see a box of condoms or bottle of lube glued onto the surface, blocking Ms. Marilyn Pornroe's close-up shot. It's just not feasible. The closest you might find is a girl or guy wearing a branded t-shirt, but even that's out if it's some fantasy themed shoot.

A few of my more open friends have mentioned how they will mimic what's happening on screen to guide them on what to do next in effort to keep things from getting stale. I never asked for details. They tell me that there are multiple series of movies aimed at couples. These are likely younger age groups, but I won't make an assumption.

Nope, it doesn't. It has everything to do with him be a violent, narcissistic nutjob.

I should think you're the expert on that diagnosis around here. My question: when are you libstains going to give up on this one? A totally politicized prosecution was brought, with zero evidence, and the proper verdict rendered. That "violent, narcissistic nut job" Alan Dershowitz agreed. Your pals in the MSM did everything in their power to advance the preferred narrative: "white racist shoots innocent little, teeny, tiny, pre-pubescent black boy for no reason." They even fabricated "evidence" to help convince the public. The teeny tiny little boy's parents found time in their grief to buy and wear extensive new wardrobes, settle out of court for a lot of money with the "gated community," and travel extensively while dining on surf 'n turf (all on someone else's nickel). The race hustlers cashed in. Meanwhile, hundreds of black people have been gunned down in my hometown of Chicago, by other black people and you and the rest of the libstains are utterly silent. Why? When "they" kill each other it's okay? Can't argue how hopelessly "racist" America is with gang killings?

Which still doesn't mean it wasn't self-defense.

Not in the court of law, no.

Sure confirms what many have suspected about his temperament, though. Any version of his side of the story where he wasn't being aggressive when approaching his victim continue to have their credibility weakened.

Oh, come on. You and the rest of the lynch mob didn't "suspect" anything about Zimmerman's temperament--you "knew" it. Just like you "knew" the Duke boys were guilty. Like conspiracy theorists, you only see what you want to see and ignore the rest. Maybe the next punk MMA wannabe will think twice about attacking some "creepy a*s cracker."

At the same time, his temperament may have been entirely different before going through this whole ordeal. What stress did he go through as people were threatening him from all over the place? Has it made him jumpy? I'd bet so. And I've seen absolutely calm men lose it when their wives are ready to leave them. I don't excuse it in anyone, but I acknowledge that guys will turn nutter during a divorce, either turning into complete a55es or into complete mush, and sometimes both, depending on when you find them. Add up everything and he may have been turned into what he's been accused of being for these last 18 months now.

If there were witnesses to Zimmerman's "violent, nutjob" personality, you would have expected the prosecution to have them testify. Instead, we had black neighbors testifying favorably about their "friend" George Zimmerman. I'd imagine things have been a little tense in his life. His parents were threatened. He was threatened. Under no circumstances is threatening or appearing to threaten to use a firearm in a domestic dispute acceptable. Period. And I've said before that neighborhood watch types should not be armed. But I think you're on to something. He isn't the same guy he was, at least for now.

Fair point.
