Maybe it's just me, but I'm actually OK with people "desecrating" the flag in protest. I may not agree with it, but will defend the right to do it. As Amendment IX says, Freedom is a two-way street.

I'm not OK with some idiot doing it as part of a rap video, with the intent of making millions of dollars off of the stunt.

Luckily, there's a 50/50 chance this idiot gets shot by some other thug in the next year so.

Sheesh. My 3 cousins grew up in Auburn (along with Chad and Jeremy Morin). Wonder how much farther my cousins would have gotten if they'd had decent schools... (2 Ivy grads, and the "dumb" one is a PhD neurobiologist. :) )

Smart people/good students don't need "good schools". Many of the people like this can learn on their own, without much assistance or outside motivation. The people that are less fortunate, that may need more time, and assistance to grasp certain material suffer the most.

This occurred in my own neighborhood at a business I frequent whose owners I know well. Is your question rhetorical? I think every effort should be made to apprehend and prosecute the old lady same as any other thief. Did my post indicate otherwise? I've shared the video around to friends and neighbors in the area asking for help in identifying "Granny." Nothing yet.
