Re: Nice planet 4: Take 2. Action!

If he's a Watertown "man", how come he was arraigned in Theresa??

The story is incomplete (There's a shock). He's from Watertown, NY and was arrested by the New York State Police. He was arraigned in Theresa because they have jurisdiction.

And an extremely uncurious person. Every time she went out to buy some crack, the kid suffered a fracture. Go figure. Although it's "possible" she may have ratted her boy friend out. I'd say it's more likely that she'd be named to the next astronaut training class. In my experience, these babes usually value the dik more than they do the lives of their children.

Please tell us of your experience. You were a counselor in the inner city? How did you piece together that she was going out to buy crack?

Blow it out your barracks bag. You tell me why you instinctively want to give a woman who lived under the same roof with a man who broke her baby's arms, legs, ribs and skull (more than once) the benefit of any doubt. Is she, in Leonard Bernstein's words, "depraved on account of she's deprived?"

35 yeas in the news business, occasionally reporting on these animals, gives me some perspective.

I don't want to give her the benefit of the doubt. She isn't charged. If the police had evidence against her, she would be. It is entirely possible she will be charged later.

So your experience tells you these people are sex-crazed, crack addicts even though all you have to go on is (an incomplete) news story and a mugshot. That's amazing detective work. You missed your calling; Scotland Yard could have used someone with your skills.

Thought you might like to see a picture of the a*shat for whom the First Amendment was written. Named his son Adolph Hitler. Showed up in a custody hearing (imagine, they took his kids away from him) dressed like a Nazi shoe shine boy. He looks a little like Ron Kuby. But since Kuby is a commie, I don't think it's him.

Yes, that's exactly what they are. Where the h*ll have you been, Neverland?

Re: Nice planet 4: Take 2. Action!

Why don't you run down to the ACLU and make an emergency donation in her name? There are more important things here than this slattern's reputation. There is an innocent baby, literally in pieces as a result of her criminal neglect. This child received multiple fractures over time. Now either he did it, she did it, or somebody was periodically sneaking into their home and beating the crap out of the kid. I'm inclined to dismiss the third option. That leaves just Ozzie and Harriet.

That kid is going to have such a great time in school.

Wait, the writer considers that a "Hitler mustache"? Sure it is.

So you don't know anything about her and are ready to say she is a sex-crazed, crack-addicted slattern (and animal) who beats her child, or watches it happen. That's very enlightened of you.

How about a fourth option? He threatened to give her the same treatment if she said anything to neighbors or the police? Hence the reason for an "anonymous" call to CPS. No, that can't be it.

Again, we don't know a thing about her. She isn't mentioned in the news report or on the NY State Police web site. Do we even know whether she is alive? But you're ready to assume the worst possible thing about her. It must suck to go through life with so much hate inside.

I'll agree that it's a little curious that so far we haven't heard anything about a woman here. If there is, the odds would seem to favor her not being mother of the year material. Turns out our "father" has spent a couple of years in prison for repeatedly slamming a 2 year old girl into a wall, causing multiple fractures.

The Big Apple deciding it wasn't going to take a back seat to the Windy City.

The hottest weekend of the year in New York City was one of the most violent, with 26 people shot, seven of them fatally, over 72 hours, police said on Monday.

Among the victims was an 11-year-old girl walking out of an apartment block in Brooklyn on Friday. She was hit in the neck by a bullet intended for two men nearby, according to the New York Police Department.

Re: Nice planet 4: Take 2. Action!

She may have been the one who placed the "anonymous" call to CPS. Or she may not have been home when it happened. If she's at all culpable she'll face charges.
She may not have been home when his right leg was broken? She may not have been home when his left leg was broken? She may not have been home when his right arm was broken? She may not have been home when his left arm was broken? She may not have been home when several of his ribs were broken? She may not have been home when his skull was fractured several times? OK, I'll live in your neverland for a minute. Are you suggesting, then, that she wasn't home at all in the interim periods, when her baby was surely crying in agony from the barbaric abuse this man was dishing out upon her child? She was home, she knew what was going on, and did nothing. Maybe - maybe - she finally dropped a dime. But she sat by and watched as her defenseless baby was nearly beaten to death. Frankly, I think that makes her worse than him in some ways.

Again, I will point out the following:

She was not charged by the police.
We have heard nothing about her in either the police report or the news story.

Why do you, OP and BBDL automatically assume the worst about her? You don't know a thing about her.

Nancy Grace, the power of Christ compels you to leave Old Pio's soul! The power of Christ compels you! *flings Holy Water* :)

All that's needed is a pejorative nickname for her. CrackMom? LovesTheD*Mom?

Re: Nice planet 4: Take 2. Action!

Make it a double in my neck of the woods on infant assaults. Again, people like that have kids, but my spouse and I are going two years without any luck? WTH.

http://www.wwnytv.com/news/local/Baby-Injured-Man-Charged-With-Assault-210108851.html

We all hope that situation will be resolved. And soon. It's possible the "mother" involved here is a rising star in the IRS, or a Baptist minister or a lawyer. It's possible she was so terrified of her "husband" that she was frightened into silence ("over time"). It's possible her life is a pillar of rectitude and probity. It's possible she was "out" (returning books to the library, no doubt) each time her baby suffered a (spontaneous?) fracture. But it's bloody unlikely. What's more likely, and what plays out in courtrooms across the country on a daily basis, is that she valued the companionship of her "man" more than she did the life of her child.

What was called the worst case of child abuse in Houston history involved a 5-year old named Tommy Lott. Beautiful little guy, blond hair, blue eyes. The live in boyfriend tortured Tommy to death over a long period. The autopsy revealed, among other things, cigarette burns to the boy's scrotum. At trial, a 25 year veteran HPD homicide detective broke down, unable to give his evidence. Long prison sentence for "mom," life for the boyfriend (it wasn't capital murder).

We know she shared a "home" with a man who caused about 10 fractures to her infant child. IMO, we know enough. The rest is just noise.
