Re: Nice planet 4: Take 2. Action!

We know she shared a "home" with a man who caused about 10 fractures to her infant child. IMO, we know enough. The rest is just noise.

And you know that how?

A 26 year old Watertown man is accused of punching his infant son in the head with his fist.

State police charged Willie Smith III of 22625 Plaza Drive with second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police said an investigation began with a Child Protective Services hotline referral of an injured 2 month old male infant.

According to police, the baby was taken to Samaritan Medical Center where he was diagnosed with two fractured arms, two fractured legs, fractured ribs and several fractures of the skull.

The injuries were determined to be in various stages of healing and that some could be life threatening, police said.

The infant was transferred from SMC to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

Police said their investigation revealed that on one evening in the month of May, the infant's father, Smith, punched the baby in the head with a closed fist.

Last Friday, police arrested Smith.

Smith was arraigned in Theresa Town Court and was ordered held in the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
Nothing about the mother there.

You may very well be correct, but you don't "know" any of this for a fact. You are speculating.

I have been fairly consistent that we don't know anything about her. You're the one saying she is a crack user who is addicted to sex.

Again, what we know about the mother:
She was not charged by the police.
We have heard nothing about her in either the police report or the news story.

Why don't you run your little theory about her being "out" on the dozen or so occasions we know her "husband" beat that kid again. It was hilarious when you first proposed it. And still is. And while you're at it. Repeat your pathetic mantra "she hasn't been charged by the police" another fifty or sixty times. In no time at all she'll morph into Mother Theresa. The truth of the matter is you want her to be blameless. For some hard to fathom reason, her "innocence" is important to you. Why else would you propound, then repeat, the nonsense about her being "out." She was "out" all right.

Why don't you run your little theory about her being "out buying crack". It was hilarious when you first proposed it. And still is. And while you're at it. Repeat your pathetic mantra "she loves dick more than her own kid" another fifty or sixty times. In no time at all she'll morph into Satan. The truth of the matter is you want her to be guilty. For some hard to fathom reason, her "guilt" is important to you. Why else would you propound, then repeat, the nonsense about her being "a slattern." She was "out buying crack" all right.

Right.

No pun intended?? :)

I (and others) HOPE she's innocent. Who knows, maybe she was working? But right now, there is nothing in the printed word that says she was an unfit mother. Some may think she is (how come the kid did not go to the hospital before?), but, as of 6:42 on Tuesday, the State has not charged her with anything.

Pshaw. Just because the state hasn't charged her with anything is irrelevant. OP has divined that she is a crack whore who gets off watching the father beat their child. She should be jailed for life.

Why? What difference does it make either way? The one whose status should occupy your mind(s) is that innocent baby.

The odds would seem to favor her being a crack whore rather than a Ralph Bunche award finalist.

Good advice from a guy who has spent the last 24 hours fantasizing about crack whores.

That's low, even by your subterranean standards. You're attaching great importance to the fact that the early reporting on this case hasn't mentioned "Harriet." That can be accounted for in part, by bad reporting. Whatever her status is, we would all like to know. And if the police are refusing to comment on her status, then that's also a fact that should be reported. All of the stories I've seen suggest to me re-writes of the same press release.

Just a guess, but I'm thinking the cops are wanting to put "Ozzie" in prison forever, given that he's already served time for beating the snot out of another kid. And they may be working out a plea deal for her in return for her testimony. That seems a far more probable explanation. Otherwise, we're left with your explanation, that she's Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm, who, paraphrasing Butterfly McQueen: "Don't know nothin' 'bout no child abuse."

Looks like something else is sick is going to have to happen to break this squabble up.

He's a guy who would probably give Ilse Koch the benefit of the doubt. Not me. LOL. Maybe we should show home movies.

Re: Nice planet 4: Take 2. Action!

Back to Priceless' Mother of the Year nominee. If the beat-down had happened in one occurrence, I can see the possibility that she neither knew nor was involved. According to the article, that is not the case here. The injuries were described as being in various stages of healing. I may not have been a math major, but 2+2 would seem to indicate that she knew about the abuse, or at the very least was ignoring what must have been horrendous cries of pain from her child. That puts her as lower than low in my book, and is most likely criminal. The fact that charges haven't been announced against her means nothing. The man could just be trying to squeeze her hard enough to be a good wit against the daddy before they cut her free or charge her. In my opinion, she should be charged based upon what I've read.
