Re: Nice planet 4: Take 2. Action!

That may be the case, but your constant bleating of "tu quoque" doesn't justify the fact that many of your posts elicit such responses; childishness begets childishness.

So? I don't "bleat" tu quoque. I merely point out the logical fallacy which is their stock in trade. They don't seem to be willing or able to catch on. Come to think of it, neither do you, since you evidently blame me for their illogical "arguments." Evidently you see this as the ends justifying the means. I see it as children arguing like children

Re: Nice planet 4: Take 2. Action!

Christ almighty, it's like I'm sittin' here playing cards with my brother's kids or somethin',

Do I have to pull this car over? :D

Has anyone actually pulled the car over to queit the rest of the car?

Did it once and the wife and kids (4) were shocked. Told them we were going to sit there on the shoulder until things got quiet or I was turning around and head home. I gave them 5 minutes to decide.

Point made. Promise kept and they were well behaved from then on.

As Dad said, somebody has to be the ahole once in a while.

Even the wife? :D

So, since I don't have kids... What exactly does happen when you get to "3"

Girl sends cryptic message in yearbook by using the periodic table. These are lyrics from the Notorious B.I.G. and are NSFW.

Hardly "Nice Planet" material. More like "F*king Awesome Planet" material.

Re: Nice planet 4: Take 2. Action!

Truer words have rarely been spoken, in both family and business life.

That's how I got my first promotion, actually. Restaurant business, one manager wanted me to step up, and wondered if I could handle managing people I worked alongside of (as in: equal rank). I said, "Someone has to be the ahole, right? I can do that."

Re: Nice planet 4: Take 2. Action!

This recent talk reminds me of a Futurama episode "Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV." At the end Bender asks: "Parents, have you ever tried turning off the TV, sitting down with your kids,...and hitting them?"

I will never understand why Futurama was cancelled. Twice. Such a brilliant show.
