Yes, and that's she's truly "cancer free."

Most of us are too young to remember the agony Red Skelton went through, losing a son to leukemia. His first live show after the boy died was too emotional for words.

The military works very hard to keep abusers and bullies out of basic training situations. Sometimes, some bad apples slip through. Lots of careers will be ruined here, including that colonel in charge. Decades ago, I can recall some incidents at Parris Island where boots lost their lives because of overly enthusiastic DI's, thankfully those days are over.

There are very few situations in life where the power differential between two people is so vast. Basic trainees are pretty sure, but not positive, their instructors won't beat the crap out of them, or worse.

I don't think I've heard "coyotes" used as a term in this scenario... is it referring to the illegal immigrants, or the human traffickers who cram 'em in there like cattle, give the keys to a teenager and send 'em on in?

The latter. And don't forget the hefty "fees" they extract from their "clients," many of whom wind up being held against their will in houses in the Phoenix area. Collectively, these a*sholes have lots of bodies on their resumes.
