Re: Nice Planet 2012

If you already haven't heard about it, here's the video of the Grandma Being Bullied. I made it about 30 seconds and couldn't take it anymore.

The contribution fund to raise $5,000 for her to go on vacation has now reached over $500,000, and 4chan went to work right away to expose the kids and their info.

However, then there's this lady that says we can't punish the kids, because that could hurt their feelings or something.

Re: Nice Planet 2012

No doubt about it, we definitely need more lawyers. There are just too many little league players to sue.

If I was the judge doing this case, I would just rule that the MLB and MiLB stadium rules apply of "please be aware of the action around you." That protects them from liability if you get hit with a foul ball, right?

It's probably not a legal ruling since it's not generally posted around LL fields, but this case is stupid anyway.

These *******es are in junior high, correct? Here is where a couple of 10th and 11th graders go see them and pound the ever-loving **** out of their faces. Just give them the assbeating of their lives. And warn them that this is going to happen until this crap stops.

Don't you assume some risk at a sporting event? Any sporting event? To me, the tip off that this is a rip off is the husband's claim that he ain't gettin' any because of the accident. Sh*t happens, and it's really unrealistic to blame an 11-year old. Isn't it?

In middle school, remember how scared you were of "high school kids?" Didn't want to cross 'em, because you knew they'd beat your a*s. Aside from beat downs, I'd like the parents of these little punks to asign them the equivalent of a long term of community service at the lady's house. Yard work, housework, gutters, garage clean up, etc. etc.

If these kids are acting like this, I'm guessing the parents aren't worth a crap in the first place. Anything you get out of them is a bonus at this point in the game.

If I had pulled something like this, I'd still be walking around like the Hunchback of Notre Dame, because my dad would have kicked my asscheeks clear up to my shoulder blades.

This, and volunteer hours at a nursing home when they're not doing chores around her house oughta do it. Schadenfreude is fun and all, but the service will go way further than a beat down by older kids no better than they are ever would.

Re: Nice Planet 2012

Give them the epic ***-kicking, just to make sure. Given this oxygen-thieves, they'll probably spend the whole time at the old folks' home cracking jokes and making fun of people.

Yeah, my old man would have gone to Defcon 1, which explains, in part, why you and I would never consider such behavior, let alone engage in it. Your first post reminded me of the scene in "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" where they hunt down everyone who's disrespected 'em on line, ring their doorbells, make sure they've got the right people, then knock the snot out of 'em. Kids, ministers, handicapped didn't matter. They all had it coming.

We had a couple guys in our class who were like that. One wound up in jail at one point after graduation after trying to burn down his parents' house, and the other one is somewhere digging ditches, which is just about all he's smart enough to do. If these clowns are anything like the two I went to school with, any geezer time they're assigned to isn't going to do much good.

You're probably right. On the other hand, the 300 pound attendant in white, Ernie, might be able to, uh, break through.

Let them scrub some bedpans, change some Depends, and wipe some asses. It'll humiliate them, if nothing else.

There's always the chance, albeit a small one, that they might develop some empathy.

"You know, Mrs. Buckman, you need a license to buy a dog, to drive a car - hell, you even need a license to catch a fish. But they'll let any butt-reaming a*shole be a father."

The world is crazy and you never know, but yeah it's pretty hard to imagine that this case will actually win. Hopefully, New Jersey allows judges to make plaintiffs pay defense costs in frivolous lawsuits.

This is totally beside the point but...

I was friends with a set of brothers in our neighborhood (3 of the 5 were in my age range). They grew up in the same house, with the same parents with the same set of opporunities from the first to the last. All 5 went to college (the parents did not) and all of them seemed to be on their way to at least being contributing members of society. The 2nd youngest was at one point busted for selling LSD and sent to prison for 10 years while the other four are currently married and by all outside accounts well-adjusted. Not defending anyone related to this case or any other, but god**** it sometimes even the best laid plans sometimes go awry. I miss that kid. :(
