Gives new meaning to the phrase "Kill the Quarterback!"

WEST ORANGE — WEST ORANGE — West Orange-Stark senior and starting quarterback Reggie Garrett died Friday night after collapsing at Dan R. Hooks Stadium in West Orange. There was not a dry eye in the stadium after the Mustangs’ 27-7 win over Jasper. The score did not matter. The statistics did not matter. The Mustangs’ family had lost a young man many were calling “a great human being.”

Garrett collapsed shortly after throwing a 13-yard touchdown to Mark Roberts early in the second quarter. He died at Memorial Baptist-Orange at about 9:30 p.m., after reaching the hospital an hour earlier. Mustangs’ head coach Dan Hooks said Garrett did not do a lot of celebrating after the touchdown and had not shown signs of any health problems this year.

Let's see: moral equivalence between McDonald's and the 9/11 highjackers. What a putz. Besides, a guy built like a Yokozuna really shouldn't comment on anyone else's dietary choices.

Actually, one person just wants to execute anyone who is Muslim or from a South American country.

even if they're guilty... what's the difference? Dead is dead.

Yes, they should be executed... its getting to the point that we need examples of what happens to people who engage in treason to remind them that it won't end well... not even prison which some could see as a noble refuge for those who nobly tried. There shouldn't be any nobility in this. Their lives should be painted as accurately as this incident speaks... complete and utter failure and contempt for what this nation provided them.

Of course certain people will manage to apologize for this... of course people still apologize for the Rosenbergs but their guilt is certain.

The great trial attorney Louis Nizer wrote a book called "Implosion Conspiracy" in which he established for all but the most dedicated pinkos that Julius was absolutely guilty and Ethel almost certainly was. Interestingly, the feds weren't particularly interested in frying her and there were several offers made that if she just came clean, they'd put her away for life. But like the dedicated Red she was, old Ethel never budged.

You're so right. The A-men choir is with us always, defending the Rosenbergs and that punk Alger Hiss. That's why anyone wishing to get the facts about that case should read Allen Weinstein's "Perjury." Devastating.

Cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal managed to make a college commencement address, write a couple of books and make multiple appearances on Pacifica Radio while "rotting " in prison. Meanwhile, Tookie Williams' career as the author of children's books is over. Bah-da-bing.
