South Dakota, Arizona, and Kentucky Republicans have introduced bills saying that if kids express gender dysphoria to their counselors, it's the same as self-harm and counselors must report it. Also, Republicans in at least 10 states want to jail doctors if they provide trans teenagers with puberty blockers.

6 week old fetuses have more rights than trans kids. I'm sad. It's a really dark time for trans people in this country.

Technically speaking, 6-week-old embryos have more rights than trans kids. It's still two weeks away from being a fetus. ;) :(

And you know what's the saddest part of all this? Many of these Republicans drafted these bills because they're facing primary challengers. Hurt others and possibly drive kids to suicide, all to keep a seat.

South Dakota's anti-trans bill has passed their house and will probably breeze through their Senate. The only thing that can stop it is a governor's veto, and she might, because she had some concerns.

Just remember, Republicans are only pro-life if the child is still in the womb.

Don't exhaust yourself with worrying about clowns who do not control you and whom you cannot control or even influence. Remove those obstacles between you and your deserved happiness. The shyt will always be out there. They are afraid of you and every other non-majoritarian group that is on the right side of history. They don't deserve to be in your head. That space is for you, those close to you, and those who inspire you.

I'm learning how to speak up and speak out while protecting myself.

And I learned about the choir: choirs can hold long notes because if one needs to drop out, others are there to pick them up.
