The double-standard in this sort of crime kinda gets to me.

Spacey is a good actor. He seems tall because he is somewhat above average in height where almost all big roles go to Lilliputians.

He's Jack Lemon. Solid B, but surrounded by Ds.

He's a one-trick pony. He can play a smug pr!ck to a tee - albeit in slightly different milieus - but at the core still a smug pr!ck over and over. He's great at it, but his range is extremely limited for me.

Loved him in HoC during the early seasons but the show went off track and away from him to a large degree.

Wish they would have done a few seasons with him in the House as that was more interesting to me than the Presidency.

I even think the VP could have been cool for a while.

Nah, he has more than that. His Frank Underwood is more than that all by itself. I hated K-PAX but he's not at all that character in it. Verbal in Usual Suspects is not like that.

He does play a fantastic pr-ck: in Glengarry he is superb. But he has range. He's not Al Pacino.

That wasn't his fault, though.

Well... then again, maybe it was because he got more control as it went along (Robin Wright's influence in particular was horrific. Every episode with her as director was atrocious.)

100% agree on staying in the House. They jumped WAY too fast to the White House.

An actor in that many movies will inevitably receive some different roles, but on the whole he played a smug d!ck far more often than not. Also Unusual Suspects is a terribly overrated movie and KPAX? Come on man.

From the story:
