The only series I'm really interested in is the DET/CHI series, although I'll still watch them all, and hopefully something will get my attention.

*If the Rangers play like they did in game 7. They were pretty craptacular in the previous games, and Washington was slightly worse. Suspenseful games, but not great hockey.

Is my memory skewed or do the Caps lose in the first round every time they make the playoffs? Usually as the higher seed too.

Can't believe the bruins won, was killing them when down 4-1. Now my punishment is having to watch the rangers...

I almost turned it off at 4-1, thought "eh, if it goes 5-1, THEN I'll shut it off." Thank goodness that didn't happen. Holy wah.

Nothing wrong with the Rangers. Watching the Sens is a real punishment.

The US was doing well in the World Championships... and against Slovakia we're reminded why we have a goalie from the second worst team in the NHL and the former head coach of the worst.

Alex Ovechkin gave an interview to a Russian media outlet where he says the NHL or the refs conspired against the Caps to get the Rangers to the next round for ratings. Naturally ESPN has latched on to this rather than the incredible events on the ice. Thank you Alex for putting the spotlight squarely where it belongs: You and your tinfoil hat.

Wonder if Bettman has the cajones to fine him.

Don't be. They're playing interviews with Toronto fans after the Bergeron goal on Toucher and Rich. They are so polite. "They'll learn from this and get better" "They tried hard" and the like. No anger, no property damage...they definitely aren't Vancouver.

You know why they have the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto? So the Leafs fans get to see the cup once in a while. :p

There's also the fact that it was, you know, the first round. It's not like they choked away a three-goal lead in Game 7 of the Cup finals.
