NHL 2026: The Olympics Will Be Mammoth!

I'm way more worried about missing JEEK and Brodin than Gus starting. We have been tandeming, the rookie played 7 games in 16 days (counting all the OT periods) and got no rest coming in to the series.

Bogo looks like he maybe has one leg

brodin likely broke a toe, and rumor is Joel broke something in his heel

that's a big, sweden sized hole

I agree. Ek is literally my favorite player on the Wild. I do not think they can win the series without him. They certainly would have a hard time with him.

What did he do vs Dallas that makes him the glue? I'm not saying they don't need him at all, but I don't think his absence solves for the overall lack of defense in front of Wally in Game 1 nor the lack of success on the PP.

have you seen the past few playoff series when he's not there? he's a beast. he's a defensive center who isn't a 1c, but he's our 1c because we've never had any fucking decent centers. he's also just a bastard which other teams hate. he's incredibly vital despite the raw stats perhaps not showing it. that big boy body is needed to slow down the speed of the avs, but we do have other big guys who need to fill the role

i see Bogo is playing, super. between he and Burns, could fill a glue factory.
