I don't share many NYC sports rivalries, probably because I have been diaspora for 40 years.

Though as for "worse," the Flyers are certainly more hated than the Bruins by Islanders and Rangers fans. Philadelphians as a class are, if not more hated, than at least taken more seriously as rivals than Bostonians. Bostonians are soft, smug cunts -- you hate them because they are jumped up provincial rubes. Philadelphians are dangerous, post-apocalytic sewer rats. You hate them because they are rabid and carry diseases.

I ain't even mad about last night.

we obv can't run and gun with colorado. I am impressed the Wild punched back after being down 3-0, esp without our top center and best defensive defenseman.

wonder if gus bus starts game 2, im not down on wally yet. wedgewood gave up six

but the best thing? good clean hockey, i never felt the angst I do all game against the stars because you're afraid of someone getting cheap shotted in the head, again.

Without prompting, I could only have named McDavid, Draisatl, Eichel, and Crosby.

I could probably still name 50 players from 1976.
