If they lose, then it's 100% on him for not playing the same team game that got them the wins. And I was pretty upset about the criticism of him early in this series. But if they can't play tight checking game blocking shots and just using the opportunities they get like they did Wed, well....
 
Have you guys been seeing the glass banger guy in Dallas? How annoying is he? I’m really surprised the arena security hasn’t gotten rid of him.

It also helps the Leafs that Samsonov isn't in net. If they started Woll the Leafs might have won in 5.
 
Ideally I wanted Toronto to win so Boston needs to blow up their team after blowing another 3-1 lead, and then Toronto blows up too after a humiliating loss to the Panthers. I guess I will need to take blowing up Toronto for losing to the Bruins for the umpteenth time, and Boston blowing it up after getting humiliated to the Panthers? Please? The Atlantic needs to get bad eventually....right? *sigh*
 
Given how the last two games really ground it out (mostly) having it end on a dump and chase that was *THAT* open was kind of a shock. It would have been less so if it was a breakout pass to Pasta that lead to a breakaway. But for him to go past the two Leaf defenders to have such an open opportunity- really something after games that were mostly played in a phone booth.
 
With the Olympics coming up, a lot of higher end guys are playing for the US in this tournament. With only two goalies, I'm sure they're waiting for someone.

Hoping to be in Prague for the quarterfinals and that the US is there for their QF game since they're in Ostrava for the round robin games.

Happy for Augustine, obviously, but I was shocked to see him on there. Maybe waiting to see if Hellebuyck wants to try to end the year on a better note?

I like that virtually no one is picking Boston. To be clear, I'm not either, but I think being the underdog makes it a whole lot easier to watch from a fan perspective.


Now give me 6-7 good hockey games.
