Well, the NHL and the Coyotes are saying they’re playing in Arizona next season so I guess the relocation talk can cool for a bit.

They have at least two more years to make a decision because their lease ran three years with a fourth year option, so the NHL could delay until 2026 if they wanted.

Florida still in "eff around" phase. Are they waiting till the finals to "find out" they aren't that good?
IIRC, they won the Presidents Trophy last year. I think teams like the Aves, Lightning and Washington have all recently won the cup after being the best team in the league the prior year. Not saying they’ll win, but it also shouldn’t be a surprise.

No new Gov election until 2026. They are the victims of De Santis' skull-f-ckingly stupid posturing until then.

Oh. You meant the other FL.

I am reduced to rooting for Vegas. Woof.

US beats France 9-0 to go to 6-0 at the World Championships, setting up a first place in Group A showdown against Sweden (unless Sweden loses to Denmark tomorrow) on Tuesday. Switzerland is also 6-0 and has clinched first place in Group B (and honestly looks like the favorite right now).

Norway beat Canada at the World Championships in a shootout today.

Also, TIL that the Man, the Myth, the Legend Tore Vikingstad from the 2010 Olympics has a son who now plays for the Norwegian team named Markus Vikingstad.

US beats Sweden 4-3 in OT to take Group A. Kind of hard to decipher what happened because any discussion have devolved into a Swedish salt mine over “dirty American play”.

US takes first place in Group A and will play either Slovakia or Latvia for the inevitable quarterfinal loss.
