If the Scheifele line starts rolling, it's over. You just can't shut them down.

If the Caps lose this series we're going to need some new negatives superlatives.

Jets are fairly young too. This team will be around for awhile and it would not surprise me one bit if they win it all this year already

Back to back 7-0 wins to open the WC for Russia. And there's a decent chance we can do it against Belarus too.

Canada puts a beat down on South Korea, 10-0. They're now -17 after two games, though they have played two of the three strongest teams in the group, so they should fare a little better from here on out. Still, it looks like they since they went to the two group format in 2012, the worst differential was -26, so they really need to pick their game up.

The licker/diver has been eliminated. Yes!!!!!!

Re: NHL 2017.1: We turn over a new Leaf and still find a Penguin

SJ loses 3-0. SJ also had three posts. Vegas, meanwhile, had a post shot get reviewed and turned into a goal. Talk about puck luck.

So. You're an executive for NBC, and you're in the board room for a Monday morning meeting of the minds, and the Stanley Cup Playoffs come up. You've got 2 teams (Tampa and LV) that have moved on, with Winnipeg and Washington possibly moving on tonight...

They've gotta hope LV moves on to the final, don't they? That, or the Pens making the comeback (puke).

I think a Tampa/Winnipeg (or Nashville) final would yield the best hockey, and probably be a fantastic final, but NBC probably wouldn't like that from a ratings perspective.

Then again, Gary would be smug as hell with a Tampa/Nashville final.

Team USA is running into a red hot German goalie. 0-0 37 minutes in.

Las Vegas-Washington might generate some interest. Expansion team winning Cup in first year vs long suffering Caps finally bringing home the cup.
