The Blues are in the Yeo Swoon. Something he was supposed to learn how to avoid from Hitchcock last year. Didn't work.

I really hope they go something Pacific Northwest themed. Ideally, something like the Thunderbirds of the WHL.

They should absolutely buy the Thunderbirds name. Perfect name, color scheme, and sweaters, and fits right in with the Seahawks / PNW native motif.

Also the Winter Hawks can beat them as the T-Birds when we get roped in after Florida collapses.

But I'm sure they will pick something hip and moronic. For the kids!

BS. The people of Portland would be too busy considering which “crunchy band you never heard of” to listen to to actually buy a ticket.

No. Nonono. Metropolitans all the way. 1917 Stanley Cups Champions.

Or Totems will work as well. The Thunderbirds, and the Silvertips, are sticking around so no need to take their name.

The process isn’t clear to me. I’m not sure when we find out if we got them or not. Luckily my family can afford to pay for them - can’t imagine they’ll be cheap.
