NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

Re: NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

In IIHF action, the US lost to Germany yesterday, who went on to lose to Sweden 7-2 today. So hopefully that isn't a sign of things to come. US takes on Denmark tomorrow. Sadly it looks like NBCSN no longer televises the tournament on the actual network, instead they just stream it online.

The US game was on TV yesterday. Not sure if it was NHL or NBCSN.

Looks like NHL is airing a lot of it. Unfortunately NHL and NBA are the two league channels I don't get with my package. After a search, NBCSN is doing midnight replays of USA games, or at least the Denmark game tomorrow.

All games are live on NBC streaming.

The US should never lose to Germany in hockey at any level. Ever.

Also, looks like South Korea has put together a pretty good program prepping for the Olympics. Won Group 1A, which means they went from Group 1B to the Championship group in three years.

Not only that, they pretty much dominated 1A. There's highlights on the IIHF YouTube channel.

Well, let's see... Last night the Oilers scored the first three goals of the game...and lost. This afternoon the Rangers scored the first two goals of the game in less than six minutes...and lost. Tonight the Penguins scored the first goal of the game...and lost. Seems the whole scoring first thing might be overrated.

Every stat is overrated in the playoffs.

Oilers may top OSU football for highest jerseys per capita in the stands.
