NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

Re: NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

What is it going to take to beat Fleury? I mean, caps have Mr. Game 7 as it is, can't put it in through 40.

Re: NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

Pens-Caps game has been terrific through 40 minutes. MAF has been the difference in the game making some exceptional saves. Great end to end action and very few penalties thus far.

They'll be offering "Ovechkins" at all the Pittsburgh bars again this summer.

The Ovechkin -- a white Russian served without a Cup.

Nice job by MAF and the Penguins. Now it's time to get ready for Washington versus Minnesota in the next round.

Oh.

I don't particularly want to see Pittsburgh in another SCF, but I'd be alright if it's against the Oilers. That would be some spectacular hockey to watch.

May be hasty but I think that goal will end things for the Oilers...

The Cult of Ovechkin may finally be over in DC.

Saw tiny bits of the game, but did see the Pen's second goal- and based on who didn't try hard to get the puck out of the zone, the cult is going to certainly be smaller.

I've never seen Ovie be accused of not trying. That isn't his problem. But if the Caps' window is closing they could easily move him to a cusp team like the Rangers.

IMHO, had he put his body into that play, the puck would have at least stayed out farther.

Granted, it was a great shot that scored, but Ovie could have done more to get the puck out of the zone. Kinda goes to show that anything can happen, so you need to make sure the puck goes out.
