NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

They fell apart in March. Didn't get the ship righted in time for the playoffs. Too bad, you could see they were slowly getting better again.

Anyway, screw the Blues. Screw Nashville as well. That series is going to be one big snoozefest.

Every game ends 1-0 in 2ot or more.

Re: NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

When Jack Michaels left the Aces to work for the Oilers I thought I was finally rid of his annoying, high pitched shrieks, and yet here is NBC playing said voice shrilling out "IN OOOOOOOOOOOOVERTIME!!!"

Hey, go easy on them, it's been a tough year for them needing to come up with new ideas and not just falling back on sticking a predator on the screen.

How about the dude covering the puck in the crease? Shoulda been a penalty shot. Brutal no call.

#1 and #2 seeds in the West, see ya.

I don't understand why they didn't review for that- it was so clear what happened.... When you reach UNDER you to get the puck, duh.

Preds/Blues?

That should set hockey back at least 30 years.

Re: NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

One fake team gone. Nice win, Oilers.

Re: NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

If this really is the end of the Thornton Era it seems oddly poetic that it was bookended by playoff losses to the Edmonton Oilers.

Re: NHL 2016.2: An All-Canada Final (Playoffs and Off-season)

Reports have Kings Assistant John Stevens getting promoted to the big chair. Presser Monday.

Jim Montgomery approached to be an assistant with the same club.
