NHL 2016.1 -- Anyone have a Laine on a new Auston?

Re: NHL 2016.1 -- Anyone have a Laine on a new Auston?

It's taken Hawks fans a while to understand that the players just don't care about the regular season.

Most seem to get it now.

Darling's been great, but he's unproven in the playoffs. Sure, he stepped in and did well for a few games in round 1 last Cup run, but he tailed off by the end of that series.

It's one thing to look good on a good team during the regular season. It's quite another to do it in the later rounds and in the Finals.

Gotta think it will be Crow until he stumbles.

I do find it funny how my Facebook lit up with "OMG da Hawkz are in 1st!!!" posts last night, just simply ignoring that the Wild have 3 games in hand...

It's par for the course I guess though. And agreed, the Hawks just don't care till March 1....

Martin Jones stops a puck by it going into his shoulderpads on the back of his neck, and he avoids backing into the goal.

That said, he isn't trying to pull them out of Arizona altogether. He'd just rather they have their own arena in Phoenix proper.

It's a pressure move on the AZ State House. They should tell him: you love them so much? You build the arena.

Tax payers are finally starting to wise up.

Lightning had 3, count them three, centers go out of the game tonight against the Wild. All Left leg/knee injuries. Yikes.

Traded 2 centers at the deadline (Boyle, Filppulla), lose 3 tonight (Nemestnikov sounded like his looked the worst, Paquette didn't look great, sounded like Johnson didn't look too bad), and Stamkos has been skating but "No ETA" and 4 months from his injury is next week. Not great for a team that needs points to chase a playoff spot.
