25 minutes of game time, and the Preds lead 5-1. I can't remember the last time the Kings looked this awful.Have today's Preds/Kings game on for some noise this afternoon. What a complete a**whooping the Preds are putting on the Kings.
I had to head out to the AHL Wolves game and turned the Preds game off at 6-3. I can't believe the Kings tied it up so late in the third to force OT.
There's always the Federal League. (gasp, cough, vomit)
It's still "in motion" and there is the pesky problem of Anaheim somehow purchasing one of the 30 AHL franchises to move them, but the wheels are definitely in motion to move AHL teams to California. Edmonton has already notified OKC they're not returning, and the rumored landing spot is their self owned ECHL team the Bakersfield Condors. LA's rumored to be moving their AHL franchise to the ECHL Ontario Reign. Those teams would be promoted to the AHL, with no word where their ECHL teams would be located.
The wheels are still spinning, but the safe guess is that the popular AHL cities would get some other east coast AHL team to back fill them (ie: someone would move to Manchester). The safe guess is that the ECHL will fill out the remainder, but some communities may be "AHL or nothing," and get what they wish.
