Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Game 7 in San Jose is Thursday for some reason
The Sharks' arena is booked for a concert on Wednesday. IIRC from a comment made on NHL Network/XM Radio, Selena Gomez is the artist. Do with what you will.;)

Regardless, from a TV viewer's perspective, giving each Game 7 its own night is a good thing. At least IMHO.

EDIT: But note that if Washington extends their series with Pittsburgh to seven games, apparently they would share Thursday with SJ/NSH...

Hopefully if that happens they have the games 3 hours apart.

Wouldn't be a bad outcome at all. And given the time zone difference, it's the most likely outcome as well.

Still, it can be tough to watch a full doubleheader from beginning to end. There are competing activities...

I'd put Dallas' chances on winning Game 6 in St. Louis on the same level as the chances of me banging Mandy Moore.

Welp. I've got a plane ticket to buy...
Awesome! When does Mandy's flight arrive in AK?

Here's to hoping there's no conflict with Wednesday evening's DAL/STL telecast. Those darn competing activities...;)

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Through three games, US is not in the best position, but still alive for the medal round. 1-2-0-0, but have games against the top two teams (CAN and FIN) in the group out of the way. Should be safe from relegation since Belarus and Hungary look awful.

Did Canada put more focus on this tournament, or has it just been luck of the draw who's gotten eliminated from the playoffs? Going back to last year's tournament, they're 13-0-0-0, with a +69 goal differential, winning each game around 7-2.

I don't think I've ever seen 3 straight delay of games.

And Justin Williams is the Mr. May of NHL playoff hockey

I don't know about that one, looked like the puck was right there

Well the Caps remembered who they are.

Will the Blues be next?
