I normally don't root for the Flyers, but I hope they destroy Pittsburgh. And it would be nice if they could win a few hockey games as well.

Absolutely. I feel this is one of the most wide open years we've had in quite some time. Every team has flaws and I could see nearly everyone winning their first round matchup.

It's sure to be an exciting time. Although the Rangers lost 3 of 4 to Ottawa this year...I like the matchup with them over Washington. I feel the Rangers matchup much better with them.

I don't like Detroit being matched up @ Nashville. At all. I'm predicting Nashvegas in 6 (yes, that would mean clinching at the Joe.) Been struggling too much down the stretch, and I'm not sure Detroit can "flip the switch" for this playoff run as they do every other year.

Is anyone familiar with the Overtime BucciChallenge on twitter? It's basically just pick the OT goal scorers, like we do here, and you get a ReTweet and a t shirt.

I will try and keep track of how many people guess the correct overtime goal scorers throughout the playoffs, thus letting us have a 'winner' for the 2012 Quest for the Cup. Anyone have any problems or suggestions with that?

I played that all last year and didn't pick the winner once :(

When a game goes to OT you pick a goal scorer for both teams. If you name the correct scorer you win. But you have to submit your names before the puck is dropped for the overtime session.

When a game goes to OT, all of us pick a player from each team who will score the winner. I'm goin to put together a spreadsheet to keep track of it, and tally the poster with the most correct players picked!
