So glad that NBC is airing/simulcasting EVERY first round matchup (while allowing the local stations to still air them). What a great way for fans of other teams from being told "nope, sorry, you're *ed from watching your team."

I get to watch the Red Wings in Chicago. And it doesn't involve playing the Blackhawks. :D

Oh, and an interesting look at the KRACH rankings for the NHL. Top 16 would be:
1 St. Louis Blues *
2 New York Rangers *
3 Vancouver Canucks *
4 Philadelphia Flyers
5 Nashville Predators
6 Pittsburgh Penguins
7 Detroit Red Wings
8 Chicago Blackhawks
9 Boston Bruins *

It's pretty fairly balanced. And not that I'm a Bracketology master, but it looks like it would have broken down to:

8 Blackhawks vs 9 Bruins

Bettman's in Nashville, so everything, even imaginary is being called on the two least penalized teams in the league.

Meanwhile in Philadelphia between two teams that recently had a line brawl, nothing is called, not even icings or offsides correctly.

Goddammit Cleary. That missed opportunity is going to haunt you.

Rinne serves up those softballs only a few times a game. He committed WAY to early to Abdelkader and was caught way out of position. He used to do that all the time with Milwaukee.

Another trait from his Admiral days, is his weak stick high. Right over the right shoulder. He's slow on that side. Why every single Griffin forgets this is frustrating.
