Because then he can go play hockey in a country without any hints of socialism, like Canada, Russia, Sweden, Finland or ... wait a second...

And yet he had been pretty healthy while in NY. Maybe he just hated playing for Minnesota so much he figured any little ache or pain was enough to get out of the lineup.

Explains why he was so ineffective in the playoffs, maybe. And give him credit, he did play through it.

If I've learned anything from watching the playoffs so far this year, it's that every team needs to shoot high on every goalie.
