NFL Offseason: The Saints won the Superbowl, and are now Marchin on to the NFL Draft.

Re: NFL Offseason: The Saints won the Superbowl, and are now Marchin on to the NFL Draft.

Roll your eyes, but better Warner than TSuck.

Even with your D and your tools on offense, you're no better than a 9-7 team and a first round exit with TSuck. Then again, what's the record for the most handoffs to a running back in one season? Without Favre, the Vikings may break that record. :D
I'm more rolling my eyes at the carousel of old quarterbacks the vikings keep trotting out there and the thought that it won't be ending any time soon.

Per ESPN, Suh signs a 5 year, 60 million deal. Didn't see the guaranteed money.

Edit: 40 million, so less than Stafford, which was a sticking point allegedly.

You mean the same team that was 10-6 the year BEFORE Favre got there?

Do you ever tire of being wrong on pretty much every subject? Seriously, I have never seen you be right, and when it comes to football your a monumental failure :D

You mean, the first round exit team that had Jackson doing a Scott Mitchell impression watching the Eagles run interceptions back? Seems like he was pretty accurate on that.

Hey I never said they would win a playoff game, just that they will probably still win the Division at 10-6 and not be as terrible as redwing hopes. And then brought up how he is always wrong, because he is :D

Yeah...I'd agree, kinda hard to not give the game +/- of 1 game in the record

If Brett Favre isn't on the packers and they go with Sage or TSuck, I guarantee the Vikings will not win the division.

Green Bay wins the division if Favre's gone. The difference last year was the Vikes sweeping head to head. That doesn't happen with Jackson.

I see. A good point. Do you think if Old Man Warner doesn't work out, they'll go after Ole' Man Garcia? :D

Hey, 10-6, 9-7, 16-0. It don't do you squat nothing if you can't beat the first opponent in the playoffs. TSuck sucks. Flat out. He's NOT an NFL QB. He's just the embodiment of the way the Vikings have been for a long time: Mediocre. They've had their flashes in the pan but hey... so have the Chicago Cubs. :D

Thanks bronconick. :)
Precisely.

Care to put your money (not necessarily literally but you get my point) where your mouth is :D ;)

The Bears won't win with Cutler plain and simple.

The Lions are the Lions.

The Packers have zero offensive line and their D is schemed for the wrong personnel. (plus Peter King picked them, and he is wrong almost as much as redwing :D )

The Vikes will have no QB.

None of these teams are Super Bowl teams, and 10-6 will win the division. I say the Vikes will win it (or the Packers/Bears will lose it, either way) based mainly on the fact that two years ago they won it with the same team. What evidence do you got? :)

See, isnt this more fun than discussing Grandpa Jesus :D

I'm not sure that happens this year with Favre...Handyman claims the Packers have zero offensive line but I disagree, the had no offensive line when they played the Vikings last year. I still contend the Packers would have beaten the Vikings if either of those games happened after week 10. Sacks/game first 9 games: 4.5 last 7 games: 1.3

What do you want to bet?
Terms are only valid if the starter for all 16 games is a quarterback from this list:
Rosenfels, Sage
Jackson, Tarvaris
Webb, Joe

If the vikings sign a QB before the season starts, you and I can decide if we want to continue the bet.

Re: NFL Offseason: The Saints won the Superbowl, and are now Marchin on to the NFL Draft.

Then let us wait until after the third preseason game (since we will know the starters of the teams by then) and decide on what to bet at that point. I agree to your terms though and if the Vikes sign someone the bet is null and void. (unless all 3 of the QBs get injured in which case I will just pay what I owe :) ) No use hammering things out now when I believe Favre starts game 1 anyways ;)

Full disclosure, I dont take preseason games to mean much so I wont change my feelings based on whether the Vikes stink or the Packers are awesome since no one cares including the players :)

Go for a team with about 12-1 or 15-1 odds. The ones that aren't quite the favorite, but look solid enough to go on a run.

I'd think the Chargers are around there, and maybe the Packers. Heck, even Pittsburgh could be a huge value bet, and I would think they are around 20-1.

The Chargers???

If you're going to bet on them to win the Super Bowl, save yourself the shame and just mail me the money.

Not with three of their better players playing tiddlywinks and that dog's arse still as head coach.
